As an experienced academician with over two decades of experience in the field of educational research in trandisciplinary area of creative studies, Dr Balamuralithara Balakrishnan from Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia have continually strived to push the boundaries of knowledge and contribute meaningfully to his research discipline. His journey in academia pursuit has been marked by a relentless of excellence in teaching, research, and community engagements with teachers and learners.

Throughout his career, he have held various leadership roles, including deputy dean of the faculty and chair of research centre, where he has demonstrated his ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment. His commitment to mentorship has been unwavering, as he has guided numerous students both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and new faculty members in their academic and professional pursuits.

His research endeavors have led to numerous publications in top-tier journals and invited to be keynote speaker at several international conferences. He is particularly well known of the utilization of Design Thinking in Education, which has garnered recognition within the academic community both at national and international levels.

These high impact accomplishments made him to be honored with Honorary Fellow of ARSVOT.
